Traditional classes are 90 minutes and consist of the same series: 26 postures and two breathing exercises, practiced in the same sequence, every time. This practice is the original “hot yoga”, done in a hot room.

Classes are taught by Vicke Marz, a certified 26 and 2 Instructor. Each 90-minute class has students doing each of the 26 poses, repeated twice, including breathing exercises. The second set allows the student to go deeper into the pose and to focus more on the breath and alignment. Savasana between sets helps the student to slow the heart rate and find stillness, allowing the body to heal and prepare for the next set.

The 26 asanas (poses) are challenging and healing. Regular practice (three times per week or more) of this sequence invigorates and heals the entire body from bones to skin. Metabolism is boosted, and circulation is greatly improved during the sequence. The 13 standing poses warm the body and increase strength and endurance. The 13 floor poses stretch, squeeze, and loosen the body. A savasana between each pose encourages you to find your breath.
